Terms of Service

1. Introduction

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Pixel By Hand website at pixelbyhand.com and the image editing services provided by Pixel By Hand Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales, based in Cardiff, UK (“Pixel By Hand”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).

By accessing our website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

2. Services

Pixel By Hand provides professional fashion image editing services including but not limited to:

  • Ghost mannequin / invisible mannequin editing
  • Background removal and replacement
  • Product retouching and colour correction
  • Clipping path services

All services are delivered digitally. Specific service specifications, turnaround times, and pricing are agreed upon during the client onboarding process.

3. Free Trial / Sample Edit

We offer a free sample edit for new prospective clients. By submitting images for a free sample edit, you confirm:

  • You own or have the right to use the submitted images for editing purposes.
  • You grant Pixel By Hand a limited licence to process and edit those images solely for the purpose of demonstrating our services.
  • The sample edit is provided once per business and is at our sole discretion.

4. Orders and Payment

  • Orders are placed through the client portal or via direct agreement with our team.
  • Pricing is agreed in advance and billed on a per-image basis monthly in arrears unless otherwise stated.
  • Payment terms are net 14 days from invoice date unless otherwise agreed.
  • We reserve the right to suspend services for overdue payments exceeding 30 days.

5. Intellectual Property

You retain full ownership of all images you submit to Pixel By Hand. Upon receipt of full payment, ownership of the edited images is transferred to you. Pixel By Hand retains no rights to your images beyond what is necessary to deliver the service.

We may use anonymised, non-identifiable before/after examples for portfolio or marketing purposes only with your prior written consent.

6. Confidentiality

We treat all client images and business information as strictly confidential. We do not share, sell, or disclose client files to any third party except where necessary to deliver the service (e.g., secure file storage providers).

7. Turnaround and Delivery

Standard turnaround is 24–48 hours for most orders. Exact turnaround times depend on volume and complexity and will be confirmed at the time of order. We are not liable for delays caused by factors outside our reasonable control.

8. Revisions

We offer reasonable revisions on all completed work. Revision requests must be submitted within 7 days of delivery. We define “reasonable” as corrections consistent with the original brief — not new or changed requirements.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pixel By Hand’s total liability for any claim arising from our services shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific order giving rise to the claim.

We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental losses, including lost profits or business opportunities.

10. Acceptable Use

You agree not to submit images that:

  • Depict illegal content of any kind.
  • Infringe the intellectual property rights of others.
  • Are defamatory, obscene, or otherwise unlawful.

We reserve the right to refuse any order at our discretion without explanation.

11. Termination

Either party may terminate the service relationship with 30 days’ written notice. Upon termination, any outstanding invoices become immediately due. Your files will be made available for download for 30 days following termination, after which they will be securely deleted.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “last updated” date at the top of this page will reflect changes. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
